Choose Your Material

Every artwork begins with a choice, and the right material is where the story takes shape.

At VAS Art Productions, we work with a wide range of sculptural materials, each selected for its structural integrity, surface quality, and expressive potential. Whether the goal is durability, elegance, texture, or scale, we guide each project toward the material that best serves its form, function, and context.

Fiberglass

Lightweight, strong, and highly adaptable. Fiberglass is our signature material for sculptural work, offering precision, scale, and smooth finishes — ideal for indoor and outdoor use.
Best for: Custom sculptures, large-scale forms, lightweight durability
Finish options: Smooth, textured, painted, high-gloss, matte

Coral Stone

Organic and locally iconic. Coral stone provides warmth, texture, and historic resonance — often used in South Florida’s architectural identity.
Best for: Site-integrated works, restoration details, natural finishes
Finish options: Raw cut, honed, carved, sealed

Resin

Luminous and fluid. Resin allows for vibrant color, transparency, and sculptural thickness. We work with cast and layered resin for contemporary commissions and unique design elements.
Best for: Abstract or conceptual pieces, layered effects, high-finish detail
Finish options: Polished, colored, translucent, embedded

Sandcast

Textured and expressive. Sandcast surfaces offer tactile depth and strong visual identity, especially in architectural reliefs and sculptural panels.
Best for: Wall reliefs, commemorative panels, public restoration
Finish options: Sand-textured, pigmented, sealed, reconstructed

Concrete

Architectural and timeless. We specialize in cast and sanded concrete finishes for panels, seating structures, and public works.
Best for: Urban installations, architectural art, integrated elements
Finish options: Sanded, pigmented, weathered, sealed

Byzantine Mosaic

We fabricate and restore mosaic works using the indirect method and classical composition systems (opus vermiculatum, andamento, etc.), with tesserae in glass, ceramic, or stone.
Best for: Sacred spaces, public art, architectural installations
Finish options: Flat or relief surface, chromatic detailing, curved adaptation

Metal

Engineered for strength. We fabricate in stainless steel, aluminum, and bronze — offering both structural reliability and finish versatility.
Best for: Outdoor sculptures, framing systems, exposed public art
Finish options: Polished, brushed, oxidized, patinated

Our Philosophy

We don’t just work on art — we work with it.

Every project we take on carries more than shape or scale — it carries meaning. Whether we’re fabricating a sculpture, restoring a mosaic, designing a pedestal, or installing a public monument, we treat each work as a living expression of cultural, historical, or personal value. Our role is to listen, interpret, and build with care — preserving what matters and creating what lasts.
